The facilities needed to produce biopharmaceuticals are complex and GeneMedix has demonstrated its ability to control design-and-build projects that result in high performance and validated facilities, on-time and on-budget. The sites operate to appropriate Good Manufacturing Practices – the rules by which medicinal products have to be made in Europe.

Starting at the development stage of a product – when the cell line is created – and through all the stages of process development, analytical investigations and technology transfer, there is a careful system of quality control and quality assurance applied so that the resulting product is assured to be of the appropriate quality, in terms of its ability to be licensed successfully, complying with the exacting standards of the European Pharmacopoeia, and in terms of there being a successful and timely product launch.
