GeneMedix once again supported the Breast Cancer Campaign’s ‘wear it pink’ day, which took place on 27 October 2006. This fundraiser was initiated in 2003 and is hugely successful as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the UK, raising over £3.6 million over the course of the three years it has been in existence.

The organisers of the fundraiser, Breast Cancer Campaign, are hoping to raise over £2 million from this year’s event alone, and we are pleased to be able to contribute towards this total.

Staff from the company’s headquarters in Newmarket, England and the manufacturing facility in Tullamore, Ireland were involved and we are forwarding the total amount raised to the campaign organisers.
